Create your own juice bar at home with this fresh and delicious cold-pressed juice you can make in under five minutes. Celery juice has been one of the most popular juices in recent years. I don’t know about you, but no matter how many health benefits a trendy juice may have, to me, it still has to taste great. If you love celery juice on its own, good for you! If, however, you need something a little sweeter, welcome to the club.

This juice is one of my go to recipes because it’s sweet enough to be incredibly enjoyable while also being full of fresh vegetables like celery, carrots, and beets. Additionally, the fresh ginger gives it an immune boosting kick that is perfect any time you need a little immune and energy boost.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Celery: be sure to wash your celery thoroughly and then pat it dry before juicing it.
  • Carrots: carrots are an excellent juice ingredient since they’re much more affordable than many other ingredients and they yield high quantities of juice.
  • Beets: regular beets give this juice its vibrant red color, but golden beets would work too. If you don’t have beets at hand, you can simply use more carrots.
  • Apple: I used Pink Lady apples, but you can use green apples like the Granny Smith variety or any other apples instead.
  • Ginger: if you’re not used to consuming a lot of ginger, be sure to start with a very small quantity only and then increase the amount to taste.
nama j3 juicer

I usually use the Nama J2 Cold-Pressed Juicer, but recently got Nama’s newest model, the J3 Cold-Pressed Juicer, which is essentially a travel-sized, more affordable version of the J2 Juicer. TIP: You can get 10% OFF either juicer using the code “BOV10” at checkout.

I personally love and recommend both the Nama J2 and J3 juicers. If you’re in the market for a new juicer and unsure about which one to opt for, here are a few key points that might help you decide.

  • The Nama J2 Cold Pressed Juicer is ideal for: anyone who likes to juice high quantities at once, families, people with spacious kitchens, those for whom convenience is a priority (you can add more produce to the juicer at once, thereby making the preparation even easier). You can read my full review of the J2 Juicer here.
  • The Nama J3 Cold Pressed Juicer is ideal for: students, frequent travelers, digital nomads, those looking for a slightly more affordable alternative to the J2 juicer, people with smaller kitchens/limited space, single households.

Recipe & Storage Tips

  • Make sure you wash your produce thoroughly and then pat it dry using a kitchen towel.
  • Fresh juice is always best enjoyed right away, but if you prefer preparing this root veggie and celery juice in advance, you can store it in an air tight bottle or jar for up to 1-3 days (the sooner you drink it, the better!). Just make sure you shake it before drinking it.
  • Another option would be to pour the juice into ice cube trays and freeze it. That way, you can simply thaw the cubes in a glass any time you’re in the mood for some fresh juice!
