Kim-Julie Hansen is the founder of Best of Vegan and Vegan Reset, as well as the author of Vegan Reset: The 28-Day Plan to Kickstart Your Healthy Lifestyle and the new Best of Vegan Cookbook.

After years of leading an unhealthy lifestyle, she became an ethical vegan in 2011 and soon also discovered the many health benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. In 2013, she developed a passion for whole foods, which helped her get rid of allergies, chronic migraines, and many other health issues.

She started sharing her passion online to show people how easy it can be to change your lifestyle, no matter how difficult it may seem in the beginning. In addition to vegan food, she enjoys practicing Yoga, drawing, reading, writing, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

She was born in Berlin and has since lived in many places all over the world, including New Zealand, Italy, Egypt, France and Belgium, where her family is originally from. She now calls New York City home. She is the founder, creative director and editor in chief of Best of Vegan, as well as content creator at Vegan Reset. In addition to her vegan platforms, Kim-Julie shares her travel and lifestyle tips on her personal blog, kimjuliehansen.com.
