- 1 lb of ripe cantaloupe meat (+ some of the juices)
- 1-inch piece of peeled fresh ginger
- 1 cup filtered water
- 2–3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- To garnish:
- basil leaves or cucumber slices
- Blend all ingredients in a high powdered blender and allow it to settle completely.
- Chill. Skim off the foam on the top, and pour over ice. Garnish with basil leaves or cucumber slices and serve
