Golden Hour Juice Recipe

Youโ€™re bound to feel glowing and golden after drinking this juice! This golden hour juice recipe is packed with ingredients to make your skin glow and strengthen your immune system. I am always looking for ways to pack nutrients into my day, and this is the (literally golden) ticket. Try drinking a full glass of water and then a 16-ounce (473-ml) cold-pressed juice first thing in the morning before your coffee, and youโ€™ll notice more energy, fewer blood sugar crashes, clearer skin, and deeper sleep that night. You can also enjoy this as a mocktail thatโ€™s perfect for a hot day: Use a ratio of 1 part Golden Hour Juice and 1 part bubbly water.

Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • ยฝ medium pineapple coarsely chopped
  • 2 medium golden beets peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 3 tbsp 30 g coarsely chopped fresh turmeric
  • 3 tbsp 30 g coarsely chopped fresh ginger
  • 5 large carrots finely chopped
  • 4 large oranges peeled
  • 2 tbsp 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup 240 ml water (if blending)

Instructions

  • In your juicer, combine the pineapple, beets, turmeric, ginger, carrots, and oranges. Juice them according to the juicerโ€™s instructions. Transfer the juice to a glass, add the lemon juice and serve the golden juice.
  • If you donโ€™t have a juicer, combine the pineapple, beets, turmeric, ginger, carrots, oranges, lemon juice and water in a high-powered blender. Blend the ingredients until everything is smooth and combined. Pour the mixture through a nut-milk straining bag over a large bowl, then strain out the juice by squeezing the contents in the bag with your hands. You might want to wear gloves to avoid staining your hands with turmeric.ย
  • I love pouring this juice in a wine glass with some ice to complete the golden hour vibe!

Notes

I love to meal-prep this juice on Monday, so that I have enough to last for a few days. Itโ€™s a great energy booster and will last for about 48 hours in your fridge. Avoid giving this pulp to your pup, as the ginger and pineapple are too much for canine systems.ย
