Golden Latte Oats w/ Caramelized Bananas


Ingredients

  • Includes maple syrup glazed blueberries and toasted cashews!
  • For the oats:⠀
  • 1 cup of gf steel cut oats⠀⠀
  • 1 cup of coconut or plant milk of choice⠀
  • 1 tbsp of coconut butter⠀⠀
  • For the turmeric latte mix:
  • 1 tsp of turmeric spice
  • 1/2 tsp of ginger spice
  • 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper
  • a pinch of pink salt
  • a pinch of cayenne spice (optional).
  • Optional: maple syrup or coconut palm to taste ⠀⠀ ⠀

Instructions

  1. Blend the turmeric latte mix, coconut butter, maple syrup and coconut milk for 1 minute in a blender, then pour over steel cut oats in a mason jar, seal and soak overnight. ⠀⠀
  2. For the glazed goodies:⠀⠀
  3. Lightly heat 1 tbsp. of coconut oil, dip the banana slices in coconut sugar and roast on pan until golden.
  4. Leave some slices to roast after sautéing the blueberries for blueberry-flavored nana slices. ⠀⠀
  5. Next roast the cashews for 2 minutes until golden or light charred.⠀⠀
  6. Last sauté frozen or fresh blueberries for 30 seconds.

  8. Assemble bowl and serve with a heaping tbsp. of nut butter of choice or tahini is also bomb.⠀
