Healthy Vegan Mac & Cheese Sauce


  • (enough for 5 people)
  • 1 cup cashews (soaked in water for 23 hours)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth powder
  • 1 tsp starch
  • 2,5 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • paprika/chili


  1. Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender (i guess you can use a food processor, too) until you have a creamy sauce.
  2. Cook pasta, drain pasta and add the sauce. stir well and serve!
