Lavender Mocha Milkshake


  • 1 frozen banana
  • 150 ml espresso
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 400 ml almond milk
  • 2 lavender sprigs
  • crushed cookies (optional)
  • mini doughnuts (optional)
  • Date caramel:
  • 6 dates
  • 200 ml water
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder – for chocolate date sauce


  1. To make the smoothie, place the milk with lavender spring in a pot over medium high heat and let it infuse for 3-5 minutes. Let it cool down, then combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. To make the date caramel, place the dates in a pot over heat and bring to boil. Let sit for 3 minutes, then blend until smooth with a pinch of salt. Add cocoa powder when making the chocolate sauce and blend again. Pass through sieve to make it more smooth.
  3. Place the date caramel and chocolate sauce in a glass and pour the smoothie over. Add the whipped cream on top and an additional chocolate drizzle. Garnish with lavender flowers, crushed cookies and a mini doughnut.
