I was raised vegan in the 80s and 90s when airlines only gave you two pieces of brown bread with lettuce and tomato and a fruit cup on the side as a full meal. I’m happy veganism has become more popular and exciting. I’ve always been a curious eater. My parents would probably say I was rebellious, always breaking our strict vegan rules.
I grew up in NYC, and have always appreciated the access to many cuisines. In my early twenties, I lived and traveled abroad for six years, expanding my culinary knowledge, finding new approaches to plant-based eating, and working with projects that addressed the intersection of food and culture.
I enjoy curating plant-based meals for different palettes. Iโve created vegan pop-up dinners in Berlin and continue to enjoy curating meals for my friends with a variety of different palettes locally.ย
